historical Scottish Dirk
College Project
During my time at college i was tasked with making a historical prop from any time period before 1960, i decided upon a traditional scottish dirk which is a dagger like blade, to make the blade i constructed the blade out of monster clay and MDF , i then made a 2 part silicone mold, casted it in resin and sanded and painted it.

Loggy the Puppet
College Project
this puppet was the result of my Graded unit at my first year of college based on the topic of sustainability. the brief required me to research, design and construct a puppet, the research and design route I went down was deforestation, sketching multiple designs landing on the log design, from there I made the puppet using AutoCAD to make the templates which were then printed, cut-out then traced them onto EVA foam. next I added the woodgrain design using a scalpel and shaped then glued the pieces together, finally I then primed and painted the puppet using brush on acrylic paint and added the green felt details after painting to finish the design.

wishbone (natural)
College Project
The wishbone was constructed as part of the manmade and organic project just like the padlock in my portfolio, I chose a wishbone as I wanted to explore bone textures and finishing applications, the bone was constructed from Blue foam and plaster.

PROTOTYPE MODEL : CALCULATOR
College Project
The prototype model was part of my college course where I was tasked with creating a upscaled model of my choice. The model was to be sectioned (showing internals) and displayed on a stand, I decided on a calculator which I upscaled by 1.5x, the shell was vac-formed, the button pad was 3D printed, the buttons were made using filler and a styrene frame, the screen was made using laser cut acrylic and the stand was made out of thick acrylic. the model was painted using spray cans and acrylic paint.

07
MILLER STREET DOORWAY
College Project
The miller street doorway model was the first model I made during my time at college, it is a scaled replica of the miller street doorway in Glasgow and was used to teach me how to construct a model from scratch using different materials and tools, the paintjob is custom as we were given complete freedom to customise our models and make them their own, the paint job is inspired by the Halo franchise being based off of the forerunner structures in that franchise. The model is made from MDF, Styrene and acrylic.
